Tony and I decided a few weeks ago that it would be fun to visit as many Baseball stadiums near us as possible, primarily along the East Coast, but we have plans on going as far as Chicago, Milwaukee and possibly Kansas City and St. Louis.
Today, we decided to be Brave and book our first trip - We're going to Atlanta. We are taking Amtrak there on Friday, May 31st for a June 1st game and returning on Sunday, June 2nd.
Neither of us make a lot of money so for us to make this happen we need to make this as cheap as possible.
So far we score $10.00 ticket through scorebig.com for the Braves. We booked a 4 start hotel room, they Hyatt Regency Downtown for $60.00 through Hotwire.com and we got $55.00 tickets on Southwest for Sunday. And just like that, we are set for this one game.
Of course, we'll be adding other stadiums before this and after, but since Atlanta is a bit far and we found such good deals, we couldn't pass it up and we had to book.
We'd love your comments, tips, suggestions for things to do around our tour. So far we know we'll have the whole day in Atlanta before the game, and we're looking for cool places to hang out after the game.
